Kentucky-bred Above the Curve scored a game victory in the 10-furlong Prix Saint-Alary (G1) at Longchamp on Sunday, May 29. Ridden by jockey Ryan Moore, Above the Court was runner-up in the May 4 Cheshire Oaks in her previous outing.

Trained by Joseph O’Brien for owners Mrs. John Magnier, Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith, and Westerberg, Above the Court is a 3-year-old daughter of American Pharoah. With the win, she became her sire’s fifth Grade 1 winner across the U.S., Europe, and Japan. Above the Curve is out of the Galileo (IRE) mare Fabulous (IRE), a half-sister to Giant’s Causeway, and she was bred in Kentucky by Orpendale, Chelston, and Wynatt.
