Led by Horse of the Year finalists Authentic, Improbable and Monomoy Girl, Kentucky-breds are prominent among all candidates for 2020 Eclipse Awards, announced on Jan. 16 by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA), Daily Racing Form, and the National Turf Writers and Broadcasters (NTWAB). A virtual ceremony of the 50th annual Eclipse Awards will be presented on Thursday, Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. ET.
