Kentucky-bred Opera Singer crushed her rivals in winning the Prix Marcel Boussac (G1) at Longchamp in France on Sunday, Oct. 1 on Arc de Triomphe Day.

The 2-year-old daughter of Justify won the race in style. She matched strides with Darnation (IRE) in the early stages. When jockey Ryan Moore asked her for more along the rail, she responded like a champion. She powered clear of her rivals through the lane, and she won as much the best.

Trained by Aidan O’Brien, Opera Singer is owned by Tabor, Smith, Magnier, and Westerberg, and was bred in Kentucky by Elvie Stockwell. Prior to the Prix Marcel Boussac, Opera Singer proved an impressive winner of the Flame of Tara S. (G3) at The Curragh in Ireland.

By undefeated Triple Crown winner Justify, Opera Singer is produced from the G3-winning Sadler’s Wells mare Liscanna (IRE). All told, Opera Singer is now a winner in three of five starts and has banked $300,452 in her career.
